DIY
See below a few tips for special DIY cleaning products with our soap granules:
- All-purpose cleaner: Dissolve 1 tbs. of soap granules in 1 cup of boiling water, add the dissolved soap and 3 cups of water in a spray bottle and shake well. You can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil as well! Use this in a spray bottle to clean your countertops, tables, windows, glass, floors, etc. Shake well before each use.
- Dish soap: Dissolve 1/4 cup of soap granules in 3 cups of hot water. Once lukewarm, add 1 tsp. of glycerin and a few drops of your favourite citrus essential oil and stir. Pour the final product into an old dish soap bottle.
- Handwash fabrics: Dissolve 1 tbsp of soap granules in boiling water, then add the dissolved soap in a bucket of water, your sink or your tub. Depending on what you are washing (e.g. a stain, a few clothing items, a cover), you want to decrease the amount of soap granules used. Always follow the washing instructions on the tag of your fabric.
For the above DIY, you can adjust the water to get the desired consistency. Using distilled water is always recommended. Note that the soap may slightly harden after the preparation.
Keep the jar with the soap granules in a dry area.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. We recommend testing a small amount of the soap on a patch of skin before using it if you are particularly sensitive. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult with your medical practitioner.
