Allergy Notice

At Aleah's Boutique, our products are meticulously crafted in small batches, ensuring the highest quality. However, as they are handmade, we cannot completely eliminate the risk of cross-contamination. While we provide a complete list of ingredients for each product, we advise those with any type of severe allergies to exercise caution and consider avoiding our products.

Important Guidelines:

  • If you have severe allergies, we recommend refraining from purchasing our products to avoid potential allergic reactions.
  • In the event of an adverse skin reaction, please notify us within 48 hours of product usage.
  • Aleah's Boutique may require a doctor's note confirming the reaction and clear photographic evidence to address your concern appropriately.

Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Thank you for understanding and supporting our commitment to quality.

Packaging

At Aleah’s Boutique, we are taking steps to make our packaging as eco-friendly as possible. Here are some of our accomplishments to date: 

  • The mailers used to ship our goodies are home compostable and are made from renewable bioplastic film. The mailers break down into healthy compost leaving no microplastics. 

  • The boxes we use to package our products are made from recycled and recyclable material.  Furthermore, the crinkle paper used to protect the goods are dye-free and recyclable. When applicable, we also fill our boxes with biodegradable and compostable starch packing peanuts. These peanuts are decomposable in water leaving no toxic waste and static-free organic starch.

  • We also use eco clear gusset bags to package our soaps (boxes or bags are used depending on the quantity purchased). These gusset bags are biodegradable, compostable, and a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging. 

  • Our custom tape is FSC-certified crepe paper and is printed using soy-based inks. It is also curb-side recyclable after use.

  • Our custom hangtags are made from FSC-certified and recycled card-stock. Printed with soy-based or HP non-toxic inks, the hangtags are recyclable and home-compostable! 

These are some of our eco-friendly packaging initiatives that we have implemented to date to help the planet. Further initiatives are underway to get to 100% eco-friendly packaging in the near future! 

Pricing

At checkout when you enter your shipping detail, you will get an estimate for the shipping options and prices for your specific order. Shipping fee will depend on the size of the package and the shipping destination. 

For shipments within Canada:

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $100 CAD before taxes & after discounts (certain exclusion may apply depending on the shipping location). We also offer a flat standard shipping rate of $9.95 CAD across Canada  for orders under $100 (certain exceptions apply). Expedited shipping rates are available at checkout.

For shipment within continental USA:

We offer free shipping on orders over $100 USD before taxes & after discounts (certain exclusion may apply depending on the shipping location). We also offer a flat standard shipping rate of $9.95 USD accross continental USA and Hawaii (certain exceptions apply). Expedited shipping rates are available at checkout.

When a package is delivered internationally (i.e. outside of Canada), it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. Depending on the country, the buyer may be required to pay these charges at the time of delivery.  

Most customs charges are due once the package arrives in the destination country. The amounts can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

Returns

Products sold on our online store can be returned and refunded if there is a defect or damage, although return shipping cost are at your own expense. Items can be returned within 14 calendar days of the date you receive your package. Items must be in its original selling condition (new, unopened, unused and unaltered) in its original packaging to be considered for return. Your receipt or proof of purchase is required to return merchandise bought on Aleah-Boutique.com.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. A picture of the defect is always appreciated! 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@aleah-boutique.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

***Important Note*** In case you have any allergy, make sure to look closely at the ingredients before placing your order. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Shipping

Aleah's Boutique currently ships to all the provinces in Canada and continential USA including Hawaii (certain exceptions apply). We have different shipping methods and rates that are available. The best way to find an accurate shipping cost is during order check out.

Orders are generally processed by our team within 3 business days. Once your order is processed, the shipping delay will depend on the shipping options and courier chosen at checkout.

Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic the arrival times of your package may be altered. Postal services and shipping couriers around the world are experiencing significant delays. Shipping delays can range from an additional week up to an entire month. If your package has not arrived within 8 weeks from receiving the order confirmation, please contact us at info@aleah-boutique.com.

Orders are fulfilled from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Please note that Aleah’s Boutique is not responsible for the loss of a parcel, delivery errors or damaged parcels. It is the responsibility of the consumer to verify the delivery information before finalizing the order.
